Florida man accused of impersonating CIA official, caught with guns and fakes federal agent badges: FHP
GOLDEN GATE, Fla. - A Florida man who is accused of impersonating an official with the CIA was arrested on I-75 in Collier County Wednesday afternoon.
The Florida Highway Patrol said 63-year-old Jorge Alberto Alfonso's pick-up truck was pulled over on the interstate along Alligator Alley. The truck had flashing red and blue emergency lights on while heading northbound on I-75, authorities said.

Alfonso, who is from the Cape Coral area, was the front passenger in the truck when it was pulled over and told troopers he was with the CIA.

FHP said that troopers at the scene found numerous guns, passports, a bulletproof vest and fake federal agent badges – which included the CIA and other agencies.

Alfonso was taken into custody by troopers and booked into the Collier County Jail on false personation of officials and drug possession charges. The pickup truck was towed to FHP's Evidence Impound Lot.
The incident remains under investigation, according to troopers.
