On this segment of FOX 35 Care Force, we speak with Jeff Vosburg about Melissa's Race to Battle Brain Cancer. The event is in memory of Melissa Vosburg, a resident of Sanford and teacher at Midway Elementary School, who was lost to brain cancer in 2013. The race will be held May 3 in Sanford.

FOX 35 Care Force: Academic tutor Diane Revels

The FOX35 Care Force is honoring a retired teacher turned academic tutor who just can’t stay away from the classroom even as she faced the battle of her life with cancer. Academic tutor Diane Revels focuses her efforts on making sure her students meet their goals and can progress to the next grade. She retired with more than 40 years of experience, but the classroom called her back.

Lost photographer found, rescued by Brevard County air team

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) said they were recently able to partner with other agencies to help locate and rescue an 84-year-old man who was lost in the marsh. The FOX 35 Care Force is honoring the deputies who helped to make the rescue.

Zechariah Cartledge to run final mile Monday

The FOX 35 Care Force Team is saluting Zachariah Cartledge and his organization, Running 4 Heroes Inc. Zachariah started the nonprofit back in 2019 when he was 10. The mission is to honor first responders who die in the line of duty. Zachariah has run for more than 1,500 heroes. On Monday night, he will make his final mile.

Habitat for Humanity groundbreaking in Kissimmee

The FOX 35 Care Force is saluting Habitat for Humanity for Greater Orlando and Osceola County. On Friday morning, officials symbolically broke ground with gold shovels on their annual "Home for the Holidays" build in Kissimmee.
