Florida man arrested for shooting, killing brother on New Year's Eve, deputies say

LEVY COUNTY, Fla. - A Florida man is behind bars after he allegedly shot and killed his brother on New Year's Eve, according to the Levy County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a home in the Manatee Farms subdivision around 5 p.m. after a 911 caller reported two brothers were involved in an argument and one shot the other, authorities said.

When deputies arrived, they found Jeremy Miller, 50, dead from a gunshot to the head, according to a news release.
The suspect, 33-year-old Michael Miller, was found hiding inside a shed on the property. He surrendered to deputies following a brief standoff.
He was booked into the Levy County jail on a murder charge.
