Added charges for substitute teacher accused of molestation
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Osceola County Deputies say 19-year-old substitute teacher, Fnu Syedyaseen-Asher, molested nine girls, ages six to eight years old, in three of the county's elementary schools: Boggy Creek, Ventura, and Pleasant Hill.
Asher is now facing seventeen charges of lewd and lascivious molestation and conduct. During an interview with detectives, Asher told them he knew what he was doing was wrong.
“Feel how I feel. It's a wrong thing. It is a wrong thing,” Asher told deputies who were interrogating him.
“You touched so many students you don't even know, don't even remember," the detective said to Asher at one point, "you're trying to think, oh, which girl spoke up? That's what it seems like."
Deputies say while they checked with every student, in every class, in every school where Asher worked, anyone else who Asher may have molested is urged to contact Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
