Man injured in Deltona shooting
DELTONA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A shooting in a Deltona neighborhood sends one man to the hospital.
The 28-year-old victim later having surgery at the CFR medical center in Sanford, Volusia County deputies said.
Paige Eldridge heard the man shouting in the road, Saturday afternoon.
She said, “I got out of my car and heard, 'I’m bleeding out. Help me, help me!'”
The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said the 28-year-old victim was shot in the arm and torso in what appears to be a drug-related incident.
Authorities spoke with residents in the area, but no one knew the man.
No arrests have been made.
The shooting is still under investigation.
