Man found dead, submerged in water off of International Dr near Daryl Carter Pkwy

The body of a man has been found in Orlando's tourist district near International Drive and Vineland Ave.

Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff's Office responded to a body of water off of Regency Village Drive after receiving a call around 11 a.m. on Tuesday. This is located south of Daryl Carter Parkway and west of International Drive.

Upon arrival, they found a man, believed to be in his 30s, partially submerged in the water. Orange County Fire Rescue crews, which were already on the scene, pronounced the man dead.

Authorities said the investigation remains active and ongoing, with no further details available at this time.  This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
