Florida man arrested on nine sexual abuse charges involving a minor

ORLANDO, Fla. - Police say they have arrested a Florida man on nine sexual abuse charges involving a minor.

The Orlando Police Department reports they arrested Jayden Bonilla, 25, on Tuesday in Orange County.

Bonilla was arrested on multiple charges, including sexual battery on a child and lewd/lascivious molestation, officials state.

Police say Bonilla currently sits in the Orange County Jail.

Details of the crime

Officers say they made contact with Bonilla around 5:55 p.m. on Jan. 7.

After requesting the Orange County Sheriff's Office to run reports on Bonilla, police state they discovered he had an active felony warrant out of Orange County referencing multiple charges.

Reports show the warrant was confirmed, and Bonilla was transported to the Orange County Jail without incident.
