Orlando weather: Cold snap to bring chilliest temps of the year over next few weeks
ORLANDO, Fla. - Expect mostly clear and cold weather this evening. Frost Advisories and Freeze Warnings are in effect for areas north of the I-4 corridor and Orlando.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny and very chilly again with morning lows dropping into the 30s and low 40s.
Afternoon highs will be higher than Tuesday but still well below average, which is the low 70s. Many places on Wednesday will remain in the 50s for afternoon highs. A few places may pass 60.
LOOKING AHEAD: Colder weather Wednesday night into Thursday morning with lighter winds. It will be the coldest of the week. Actual air temps, not wind chill, will be in the 30s around Orlando and the I4 corridor.
Widespread frost is possible by daybreak Thursday morning. Mostly sunny Thursday and Friday and warmer on Friday with highs in the upper 60s.
Expecting widespread rain showers Saturday morning and midday as a system tracks across the FL Peninsula.
There should be some clearing Saturday afternoon and evening. For the full Disney Marathon on Sunday, it will be chilly, but bright and sunny and dry all day long.
Temperatures for Sunday are close to 60. Remaining dry with afternoon highs in the 60s early next week.
