Deputies: 'Spiderman' fugitive tried to flee by sneaking out back door

A fugitive in Florida was attempting to sneak out the back door of his second-story apartment to evade arrest, when he was nabbed by deputies, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

Rashad Walker, 28, of Maitland, had felony warrants out of Orange County on charges of second-degree attempted murder and aggravated battery.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office acted on leads which took them to a unit at the Ashton Oaks Apartments in New Port Richey.  Once deputies began knocking at the front door of the residence where Walker was believed to be residing, they said he exited the apartment from the back sliding glass door and jumped to the ground from the second story.

To Walker's surprise, deputies were waiting for him and he was apprehended.  The incident was captured on a body camera worn by one of the deputies.  In the video, another deputy can be heard describing Walker as "Spiderman!"
