Alligator attacks in Florida on the rise
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Alligator attacks are on the rise in Florida.
According to Florida Fish and Wildlife officials, from 1971 to 1986, around six people per year were victims of gator bites. But now, from 1987 to 2017, that number went up to ten people per year.
Researchers say as population and development increase, so do alligator attacks.
