Vaccines distributed after four Orange County jail inmates test positive for Hepatitis A
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Four Orange County Jail inmates have tested positive for Hepatitis A.
Jail officials are now working to vaccinate all 2,600 inmates. According to the Orlando Sentinel, officials are following all procedured laid out by the health department.
They say that one of the four inmates who tested positive has been released.
The Hepatitis A virus is highly contagious. Symptoms include stomach pain, fever, diarrhea, yellowing of the skin, vomiting, fatigue, and more.
