Frost advisory active until 8 a.m. as temperatures stay low
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - It's another chilly morning in Central Florida.
Temperatures are low, with Tallahassee even in the 20s this morning. Throughout Central Florida though, it is in the 30s and 40s. Wednesday night is not expected to be as chilly, with temps in the 40s and 50s overnight. Central Florida will wake up to temps in the 60s on Thursday morning.
A frost advisory is active west of I-95, with some of the interior coastal counties (Flagler and Volusia) even being involved. This will go until 8 a.m. Gainesville to Putnam County is even colder, with a freeze warning active.
Cloud cover is approaching from the west and signifies that a weather change is incoming.
Storms are also on their way for Friday from the Gulf, with a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms possible. By Saturday at noon, it will begin to clear up.
