Experts: Addressing crisis of kids with autism drowning
In two weeks, three children with autism have drowned in Central Florida after briefly escaping their parents' sights. Stacey Hoaglund, president of the Autism Society of Florida, and Alissa Magrum, interim executive director of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance, joined FOX 35 News+ to discuss why children with autism are attracted to watch, and steps and resources parents, guardians, and neighbors can take to help prevent such tragedies from happening.
