WATCH: Orion spacecraft successfully splashes down in ocean off California coast
The Orion spacecraft is back on Earth after traveling 1.4 million miles through space, orbiting the Moon, and collecting data that will prepare us to send astronauts on future Artemis missions. It splashed down in the Pacific Ocean near Guadalupe Island at 12:39 p.m. ET. Sunday, according to NASA.
