Disney to expand parks, cruises

The Walt Disney Company is looking to nearly double its capital expenditures over 10 years to about $60 billion, the company said in a press release. That includes expanding parks, experiences and cruises.

Disney welcomed 300+ babies this year

Walt Disney World welcomed more than 300 baby animals throughout the parks and resorts since January. From a zebra to a duiker, eagle ray pup, cotton-top tamarin twins and so many more new animals at the parks.

Disney narrows lawsuit against Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts moved Friday to narrow a federal lawsuit that alleges state officials unconstitutionally retaliated against the company because of its opposition to a 2022 law that restricted instruction about sexual orientation and gender identity in schools.

Disney waiving Idalia cancellation fees

Walt Disney World Resort is waiving cancellation fees due to Hurricane Idalia. This applies to guests who booked between Aug. 28 through Sept. 5, 2023.
