The FOX 35 Care Force is saluting Habitat for Humanity for Greater Orlando and Osceola County. On Friday morning, officials symbolically broke ground with gold shovels on their annual "Home for the Holidays" build in Kissimmee.

Join the FOX 35 Orlando's Care Force for Feed-A-Thon 2024! We are partnering with Walmart and Elevation Church for a food drive to benefit One Heart for Women and Children ahead of the holidays. All proceeds will support Central Florida families facing food scarcity. We're collecting non-perishable food items, gift cards, baby supplies, and household items. We'll be at the Walmart Supercenter near UCF's campus, 11250 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32817, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024.

Join FOX 35 Orlando at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Lake Eola Park, benefiting the American Cancer Society. The walk starts at 7 a.m. Visit acsevents.org to register, donate, and for more information.

The FOX 35 Care Force is recognizing the outstanding work of Orange County School Resource Officer Justin Lemieux for making a difference in the lives of the students at Rock Springs Elementary School.

FOX 35's Care Force and One Heart for Women and Children have teamed up to help Florida families gather school supplies, so kids can focus on learning – and hopefully lessen the financial stress for moms, dads, guardians, and caregivers. Join us on Friday, Aug. 2, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter on Colonial Drive in Orlando. The FOX 35 Care Force will be out there collecting various school supplies kids need to be successful for the upcoming school year: backpacks, lunchboxes, crayons, pencils, notebooks, markers, and scissors, plus more.
