Storms moving through Central Florida, severe conditions possible
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Storms are moving across Central Florida on Monday, intensifying as the early afternoon hours approach. Fox 35 meteorologist Jayme King says that these storms will move through in distinct waves.
He also says that these storms could become severe. Heavy rain, damaging winds, lightning, and isolated hail is all possible as the storms move through. Rain chances will peak at 70 percent on Monday, with the early evening hours only have a few showers.
Temperatures will be quite warm and humid on Monday, with highs hitting the solid 80s. Lows are expected to drop to the lower 70's.
