Missing 14-year-old Florida boy returns home after a three day search, according to sheriff's office
LAKE COUNTY, Fla. - Update:
14-year-old Blayne Caruso has been found after being reported missing January 4, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
He returned home safely Tuesday evening after intentionally spending Saturday night in the woods and the last two nights in one of the sheds on his family's property.
According to the sheriff's office, Blayne was never lost in the woods.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office gave thanks to those who joined the search, as well as their community partners who supported the search efforts by feeding the volunteers, providing equipment and supplies.

Police said they are continuing to search for a missing 14-year-old boy in Florida.
Officers reported Blayne Caruso last was seen around 3 p.m. Jan. 4 in the area of St. Thomas Avenue in Umatilla.
Deputies stated they discovered Blayne had recently told a sibling he was planning to run away.
However, having never run away before, police said they are attempting to locate him, as cold overnight temperatures are approaching.

Officials stated helicopters and drones have flown over the area where Blayne went missing, and deputies have searched for him on foot using a bloodhound.
However, Blayne still has not yet been located.
It is unknown if Blayne is on foot, in a home or in a vehicle, sheriff's reported.

Blayne last was seen wearing an orange long-sleeved shirt, tan shorts and carrying a purple tablet.
Blayne is 5 feet and 4 inches tall, weighs about 120 pounds, and has blue eyes and blonde hair.
