Police searching for suspect who opened fire in Melbourne

MELBOURNE, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Police in Melbourne are searching for a gunman after one person was hit by bullets.

The shooting happened just before 2 p.m. on Saturday near the intersection of Walls and Carver Streets. 

Investigators say that the victim is expected to be okay.
