Disney announces new experiences at EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

Walt Disney World has announced five new experiences that will debut with the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.

The new experiences will include a walk-through Broadway exhibit, photo opportunities, merchandise, food and drinks, and a concert series.

The 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will run from Jan. 17 through Feb. 24.

What is EPCOT'S International Festival of the Arts?

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts is an event at Walt Disney World Resort featuring specialty food, activities, entertainment and merchandise.

The annual festival first debuted in 2017, and the event typically is held in January and February.

The festival features three artistic disciplines: culinary, visual and performing arts.

Introducing new experiences

 The five new experiences are…

  • Once Upon A Stage: 30 Years of Disney on Broadway
  • Opening Bites Food Studio
  • New Artful Photo Op
  • Festival Merchandise
  • Disney on Broadway Concert Series

At CommuniCore Hall, Disney guests will be able to experience the magic of Broadway both on and off the stage in a new walk-through exhibit.

Disney leaders say the exhibit will celebrate three decades of Disney on Broadway.

Guests will be able to discover costumes and props from popular stage musicals, as well as venture behind-the-scenes to see how classic animated films "The Lion King" and "Aladdin" were reimagined for the Broadway stage, officials say.

The only ticket guests will need to enjoy the new experience is their EPCOT ticket.

Just outside the CommuniCore Plaza, Disney says guests will be able to enjoy tasty bites with a menu that pays homage to the foods and drinks immortalized onstage.

Officials say guests should keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog for the Festival of the Arts Foodie Guide for more decadent details about Food Studios around the park.

With new artful photo opportunities, guests also can capture their favorite memories.

Along with returning favorites, such as "Luncheon of the Boating Party" by Pierre-August Renoir and Edvard Munch’s "The Scream," a new photo opportunity invites guests to voyage alongside Disney's favorite seafarer featuring Walt Disney Animation Studios’ "Moana," Disney leaders say.

New merchandises also be available for guests as part of the festival.

Theme park officials say the merchandise will include paintings, prints, accessories, apparel and trading items centered around Disney's imaginary dragon Figment.
