Police investigate after 2 shot in Sanford

SANFORD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Sanford police officers are investigating a shooting near the intersection of Anderson Circle and County Club Drive.  Another crime scene has been established at William Clark Avenue.

Three schools -- Goldsboro Elementary, Sanford Middle, and Crooms Academy -- were placed on lockdown following the shooting, which happened less than a mile from the Sanford Police Department's headquarters.  Those lockdowns have since been lifted. 

Authorities said there were two victims.  Both are in stable condition.
