Pedestrian killed in crash on International Speedway Boulevard
ORLANDO, Fla. - A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday evening on International Speedway Boulevard near Kepler Road, according to authorities.
The crash occurred in the westbound outside lane when a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport collided with the pedestrian, who was in the vehicle's direct path, investigators said.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the Mitsubishi was uninjured and remained at the scene, cooperating with investigators.
The incident remains under investigation by law enforcement.
