Orlando weather: Brief chill hits Central Florida before warmer days return

Central Florida experienced a brisk start Thursday, as a FOX 35 Weather Impact Day brought cooler temperatures in the morning.

However, the chill will be short-lived, with afternoon highs climbing into the mid-60s.

The brief cold spell serves as a reminder of the season, courtesy of northern air moving through the region.

Temperatures are expected to rebound by the weekend, with highs reaching the 70s and nearing 80 degrees by early next week.

Meteorologists anticipate calm conditions for the next 7 to 10 days, with no major weather systems in sight.

Looking further ahead, the Christmas forecast has shifted slightly cooler than previously predicted.

Highs are now expected to range from 68 to 72 degrees, a noticeable drop from earlier estimates in the 80s.

Despite the adjustment, the forecast still promises mild and pleasant weather for the holiday season.
