Orlando police make arrest in homicide investigation

The Orlando Police Department is investigating a homicide near the Disney area.

The investigation spans two counties and there were active scenes at two locations in Orange and Osceola counties on Thursday.

Police confirmed that the Orlando location is connected to a pursuit that took law enforcement officers to East Irlo Bronson Memorial Parkway earlier Thursday. Investigators said they pulled over the driver of a Ford Expedition who was accused of fleeing and eluding officers. FOX 35 crews observed what appeared to be bullet holes in the side of the SUV.

"They were telling him to back up, walk back slowly. 'Keep your hands up! Drop down to your knees!''" explained Anthony Rosario who witnessed the traffic stop at U.S. 192 at Poinciana Boulevard. "They were able to apprehend him without any anything coming out of control."

Police said that the man who they did take into custody has not been charged with anything at this point, but detectives do want to talk to him.

SKYFOX video showed traffic moving slowly over the area at the time of the traffic stop, around noon.
