Missing man found safe in Kissimmee after disappearing in January

John Noss, 24, was discovered by his parents at the Life in Son Ministries in Kissimmee nearly 47 days after he went missing in January.

The ministry's executive director Jan De Mond says they had no idea that his family was searching for John or that he had Asperger's Syndrome.

His family says John was living  with people he had met on the street, but he would come to the shelter several times a week to eat, shower and do his laundry.

Maitland Police, family and neighbors had launched an extensive search for Noss earlier this year, after he was reported missing by his parents.

His mother eventually did her own detective work using transactions made on a gift card at a Burger King on Vine Street in Kissimmee to track her son and pinpoint his location, ultimately leading them to the ministry.

Family members say John traveled to Kissimmee by taking the Lynx bus and that he was found in good health.
