Massachusetts boy's dream comes true, becoming a sanitation worker for a day
ASHLAND, Mass. - A Massachusetts boy fulfilled his wish to be a sanitation worker for a day.
Four-year-old Alan from Ashland, who suffers from a respiratory disorder, dressed up as a garbage collection crew member for Halloween, said the Make-A-Wish foundation.
"While some children are drawn to superheroes or athletes, 4-year-old Alan, who has a respiratory disorder, idolizes a group of unsung heroes who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty … garbage truck drivers," the foundation said.
