Horse stuck in mud rescued in Seminole Co.
Geneva, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A horse is now free after getting stuck in the mud in Seminole County.
Seminole County Fire Rescue officials say it took 10 to 12 firefighters one hour to pull the horse out safely on Sunday.
The rescue happened off Snow Hill Road in Geneva, inside the Little Big Econ State Forest.
Officials say the horse weighed more than 1,200 pounds and had mud all the way up to its stomach.
The horse was not hurt.
