Man faces murder charge after dispute between neighbors in Poinciana turns deadly: deputies

A 34-year-old man is facing a premeditated murder charge after an argument in a Central Florida neighborhood took a deadly turn earlier this month. 

The incident happened April 2 in the area of Birmingham Drive in Kissimmee. Deputies responded at around 10:30 a.m. and found a man who was shot multiple times in a roadway. He was identified as Connell Oliver Adman, who later died at the hospital. 

Deputies determined that the shooting stemmed from two neighbors who had a verbal argument.

Arrested Orlando shooting suspect was nabbed 2 days prior for allegedly threatening trooper 

Raymond Gabriel Ventura was taken into custody on April 2 and was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. 

Three days after the shooting, the Medical Examiner's Office determined Adman's death was a homicide by multiple gunshot wounds. 

2 arrested in Orlando gas station shooting, deputies say 

On Monday, Ventura was served with an arrest warrant for premedicated murder with a firearm, discharging a firearm in public, and carrying a concealed firearm during commission of a felony. 

He remains in custody at the Osceola County Jail without bond. 

Residents of the area expressed shock at the incident, noting that it is the first shooting they can recall in the neighborhood.

Another arrest made in Orlando shooting that left 1 dead, 6 injured in Rosemont neighborhood: police 

"I think that it’s bad – especially that it’s two neighbors that’s next to each other. It’s crazy," said Zahhell Esquilin, a local resident. "Around here, it’s really quiet. It’s mostly a lot of little kids."

Authorities have labeled the incident as isolated, emphasizing that it does not reflect broader safety concerns in the area.
