Discover Downtown Orlando information center unveiled

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Orlando has unveiled a new and improved way to "Discover Downtown."

The city's newly renovated information center, dubbed "Discover Downtown," opens Monday. It is now double its previous size.  The center features an interactive map of downtown and a 30-foot-tall mural by local artist Boy Kong.

"We sat back and really engaged with designers and thought to re-imagine the space, as to what it could look like but what it could be used for," said Thomas Chatmon, of the Downtown Development Board.

An official grand opening will take place next month.
