Human remains discovered in Apopka, officials say
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Human remains were found late Monday night in Apopka, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Orange County deputies found the remains shortly before 11 p.m. in the area of 200 South Hawthorne Avenue in Apopka, a spokesperson told FOX 35, while responding to an unrelated call.
Few details have been released, such as where the remains were found or how they were discovered. The person's identity has also not been released.
Deputies said the investigation is active and ongoing.
