Florida twin brothers arrested on child sex abuse charges, deputies say

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. - Twin brothers in Florida were arrested on sexual abuse charges on Tuesday, authorities said.
What We Know: Ronald Hawkins and Donald Hawkins, both 67, were taken into custody after reports surfaced alleging they sexually abused victims for over several years, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
Ronald, a resident of Merritt Island, was arrested in Brevard County and is awaiting extradition to Washington County on charges of lewd and lascivious behavior on a victim under 12 years old.

Donald, who lives in Cottondale, was arrested in Washington County where he is being held on charges of sexual assault involving a victim under the age of 12.
What We Don't Know: Authorities have not disclosed the locations, dates of the incidents, or the number of victims involved.
