12-foot white shark pinged off the coast of Cape Canaveral
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - A white shark has been pinged off the coast of Cape Canaveral, according to an organization that researches great white sharks and other large apex predators.
The organization, OCEARCH, posted a video about the shark on Tuesday. They said that white shark, Caroline, was pinged for the first time since being tagged during Expedition NASFA. She was just a few miles off the coast of Cape Canaveral, Florida.
They also said that the shark is about 12-feet, 9-inches long.
