1 dead, 1 hurt after crash in Osceola County: FHP

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. - One man is dead and another is injured following a crash in Osceola County on Tuesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. at Nova and Story Bend roads.

Troopers said a van was traveling eastbound on Nova Road when it crossed into the westbound lane, striking a car.

The collision caused the car to overturn onto its roof, the FHP said. The driver—a 28-year-old Haines City man—was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The 47-year-old Deltona man driving the van sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
