Southbound lanes of I-95 in Melbourne re-opens after semi-truck fire
MELBOURNE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A semi-truck fire on Interstate 95 (I-95) SB in Melbourne has caused a portion of the interstate to shut down.
The Brevard County Fire Rescue says that the semi-truck caught fire in the rear wheel area while hauling wood. The fire is now under control after crews dumped water on it.
Southbound I-95 was shut down at mile marker 185, but has since re-opened.
