The man accusing George Zimmerman of cyberstalking in court today

SANFORD, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A judge has denied a private investigator's request for a restraining order against George Zimmerman.

The man accusing George Zimmerman of cyberstalking was in court on Monday to tell his side of the story.

The man Zimmerman is accused of stalking is Dennis Warren, who was working for a production company on a film on Trayvon Martin at the time. Zimmerman was acquitted in the killing of Martin. Warren was hired to help find people connected to the case, asking them to participate in the documentary.

According to the police report, the producer says he received threatening calls from Zimmerman after he contacted Zimmerman's family members. He says he received more than 20 calls and nearly 40 text messages riddled with profanity within a two-hour period. They all threatened his safety.

Deputies say they found probable cause that Zimmerman was stalking the private investigator.

Fox 35 reached out to Zimmerman and his family, but they tell us no one will be commenting because this is now a legal matter.

A judge will decide if there is enough evidence to continue with the case.
