Puerto Rico is better prepared for future disasters
PUERTO RICO (FOX 35 NEWS) - Puerto Rico is becoming more prepared for disasters like Hurricane Maria, which devastated the island last year.
Governor Ricardo Rossello says that two warehouses filled with water and flood are now operating on the island's coasts. The 'Orlando Sentinel' reports that two more are set to open. Prior to Maria, there were none.
Puerto Rico's governor also says that there are now lists identifying vulnerable populations, like the elderly.
