One woman dead after mobile home fire near Oviedo

OVIEDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - One woman is dead after a fire ripped through a home in Seminole County. 

According to the fire department, around 1:15 a.m., a neighbor said that they saw smoke coming form the Palm Valley mobile home park near Oveido. Upon arrival, firefighters found the home on fire with smoke and flames. They attack the fire and put it out. 

However, they discovered one woman inside the home. She was pronounced deceased on scene. Her name and age has yet to be released. Deputies are treating this as an unattended death, as they believe the fire does not appear to be suspicious. 

One firefighter also suffered burns on scene, but they were minor and did not require a trip to the hospital. 

The inside of the home is badly scorched. 

The cause of fire is still under investigation.
