Mother allowed accused Parkland gunman to buy a gun
PARKLAND, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - New information has been revealed about the accused gunman, Nikolas Cruz, in the Parkland school shooting massacre.
A commission, who is investigating the murders, learned that Cruz's late mother allowed him to buy a gun, even though his mental health counselor opposed the idea. The reporter say that Lynda Cruz was an enabler who interfered with efforts to get her son treatment.
Lynda Cruz died in November, three months before the killings at Stoneman Douglas High School.
