Frontier Airlines adds new routes from Orlando International Airport
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Frontier Airlines announced on Wednesday that they now have new routes from the Orlando International Airport (OIA). These latest additions will propel Frontier to number one in the number of destinations offered at that airport.
The airline says that they have expanded their service from OIA to 54 nonstop destinations. And beginning this fall, Frontier will begin the only nonstop service to Burlington, Vermont; Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Little Rock, Arkansas' and the only nonstop low fare service to Louisville, Kentucky. To celebrate, the airline is selling fares for as low as $39 each way.
“Frontier is very proud to serve the greater Orlando community with 54 nonstop destinations at low fares,” said Josh Flyr, Vice President of Network and Revenue. “Orlando represents Frontier’s second largest city in our network, both in terms route options and daily flights, and we are pleased to offer the only nonstop flights from Orlando International to 14 cities. Our mission is to make travel affordable and we are confident our low fares help not only more people visit the area, but make flying more affordable for the Central Florida community.”
These new routes are said to be flown on the Airbus A320.
