Firefighters put out car fire in Titusville
TITUSVILLE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Titusville Fire Department reported via Facebook that shortly after 10 a.m. on Thursday morning, a unit was dispatched to a vehicle on U.S. 1 in front of Fisher Nissan.
Upon arrival, they say that a smaller sized passenger vehicle was found fully involved. Firefighters worked quick and no injuries were reported.
The driver believe that he struck something in the roadway that he was unable to avoid, the Facebook post states. It appeared that the object became lodged under the vehicle and flames began to stream behind him on the roadway. Thankfully he was able to stop and exit the vehicle unharmed.
