FDLE arrests corrections officer on child pornography charge

Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement on Tuesday arrested a corrections officer for the Florida Department of Corrections.

Tony Daniel Holowaty, 40, is charged with 10 counts of child pornography possession.  Agents said they received a tip that Holowaty was downloading suspected child pornography.

A search warrant was obtained and executed at Holowaty’s home. During an on-scene digital examination, agents said they found evidence of child pornography and seized digital devices for further forensic analysis.

Holowaty was booked into the Orange County Jail on a no-bond status.
