Walt Disney World's ban on smoking, oversized strollers starts Wednesday
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Leave the cigarettes at home when you visit Mickey Mouse.
Starting Wednesday, May 1, smoking inside all of their theme parks will be banned.
As far as smoking areas, those will no longer exist inside the parks including Walt Disney World in Orlando, Disneyland theme parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Downtown Disney in California, and all water parks, according to Disney Parks blog.
The only designated smoking areas will be found outside the entrances of the parks and at Disney Springs in Orlando.
If guests are staying at Disney Resort hotels and have room or dining reservations, there will be designated smoking areas to use.
No smoking isn't the only change.
Also starting May 1, any strollers over 31-inches will not allowed. The current limit is 36-inches.
Coolers and cooler bags used to store snacks and drinks, or loose or dry ice are also no longer permitted in the parks.
