Spending New Year's Eve at Orlando's theme parks
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - There's a lot going on at Central Florida's theme parks for New Year's Eve.
Walt Disney World will have a lot of New Year's Even festivities. At Magic Kingdom, park guests can watch the 'Fantasy in the Sky' fireworks display at 6:30 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. Then, at Epcot, park guests can ring in the new year multiple times. The clock will strike midnight in each of the 11 world showcase countries.
Then, at Universal Orlando Resort, the park will have several party zones with live music, character appearances, and plenty of confetti. Universal CityWalk is also hosting 'Eve,' which will feature Orlando's biggest outdoor dance floor for guests ages 21 and older. All six Universal resorts will also have their own celebrations.
Finally, SeaWorld Orlando is also throwing their own New Year's Eve bash. There will be festive entertainment throughout the entire park, as they host a musical celebration and fireworks display. Guests can purchase a ticket package to secure reserved seating for the shows.
