2 men dead in Orange County crash: FHP
ORLANDO, Fla. - Two men were killed in a crash in Orange County on Friday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on SR-417 at mile marker six and involved a dump truck and two other vehicles, said troopers.
According to the incident report, a 37-year-old man was driving south on SR-417 north of International Drive in the only right turn lane in a 2021 Toyota Corolla. The Corolla failed to slow down, and ended up hitting the Ford Maverick that was in front of it.

The Corolla was inside the center lane when it got hit by another car.
A 21-year-old man was driving a 1994 Mack Dump Truck south in the center lane, and for reasons unknown, the driver could not break in time to avoid hitting the back of the Corolla, said troopers.
After this collision, both vehicles hit the guardrail.

The 21-year-old driver did not have any injuries from the collision.
However, the 37-year-old driver and the 24-year-old passenger of the Corolla were transported to a local hospital where they were both pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation.
