ORLANDO, Fla. - SUNDAY LOW: 58
SUNDAY HIGH: 70
TONIGHT: A quiet evening under mostly clear skies. Clouds will gradually fill back in overnight allowing for milder temperatures into Sunday morning. Lows will dip into the mid to upper 50s.
SUNDAY:
Our weather will begin on a wet note Sunday morning. A round of rain will move onshore on the Gulf Coast and then spread east across Central Florida through the morning. Rain may be heavy at times, but strong to severe storms are unlikely.
Any rain should clear out by 12-1 pm. There will be a lull in activity after the first round ends with even some clearing possible. Depending on how much clearing we see and how warm we get will determine what we see the rest of the day.
Most models indicate that there will be a few storms possible from mid-afternoon to sunset. A limited risk of severe weather will be present with winds, hail, and an isolated tornado possible. If we see warmer weather and more sunshine, that could bring a higher risk. Regardless be weather aware if you have outdoor plans on Sunday. We will likely see mostly cloudy skies with highs near 70 otherwise.
LOOKING AHEAD: Sunday's system will linger off the east coast of Florida and bring more unsettled weather to begin the week. A few showers and storms will be possible on Monday with mostly cloudy skies and cooler highs into the 60s. On Tuesday, rain chances fall off, but a gusty north wind will develop in the system's wake. Gusts up to 30-40 mph will be possible. We will see gradually warming weather through the rest of the week
