Orlando PM Weather Forecast: April 20, 2025
The heat turns up and the dry conditions continue. That means more warmth and sunshine for Central Florida. Meteorologist Laurel Blanchard lets us know when highs sneak back into the 90s.
ORLANDO, Fla. - It will be a great evening weather-wise to get outside and enjoy the rest of what has been a beautiful Easter Sunday in Central Florida.
What will the weather look like tonight?
What To Expect:
Temperatures will slowly sink into the mid-70s with clear skies for sunset, but winds will still stay gusty for the rest of the evening.
Clear skies are on tap through the overnight with winds staying on the breezy side and temperatures dropping into the 60s.
Although temperatures will stay mild through the overnight, we are in for a hot start to the workweek.

What will the weather look like tomorrow?
What's next:
We are in for a hot start to the workweek.
The high pressure that has been dominating over the region this weekend will scoot off to the east and drive even warmer air into Florida, turning up the heat and humidity.
Monday morning will start off warm already, with temperatures for the morning commute starting off at near 70 degrees.

As a weak cold front pushes into Georgia, this will create partly cloudy skies for Monday morning with more sunshine through the afternoon.
Temperatures will continue to heat up, and we will be near 90 degrees tomorrow.

Monday night will be very mild and muggy with temperatures dropping into the mid to upper 60s.
We've already had five 90-degree days or hotter this month, and we'll likely add a couple more days this week.
Monday night will be a touch muggier with lows sliding back into the middle and upper 60s.

What will the weather look like for the workweek?
Dig deeper:
You may want to get used to these conditions, because we will be holding temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s for the majority of next week.
Humidity will start to kick back in through the middle of the week, making it feel on the stickier side.
Dry weather sparks fire risk
Why you should care:
For the foreseeable future, we are seeing dry weather, which is a concern for wildfire risk.
With the gusty winds and the dry air through early next week, the risk will remain high.

Burn bans have been put into effect for Volusia, Seminole, Lake, Orange and Polk counties for the time being.
Winds and very dry air will stay over the region until humidity starts to really kick back in through the middle of next week.
Rain looks very limited over the next seven days. There is a chance of a lone shower popping up or blowing in from off the coast, but the majority of the region will stay dry, which will only worsen drought conditions.
