Orlando weather: Rain hits some areas before workweek
ORLANDO, Fla. - TONIGHT: Cloudy with a lingering shower. Most of the rain will move out through the early overnight hours but a few showers will still be lingering across the region. Lows in the low to mid 60s. Winds will still be breezy but will switch from the SE to the NW at 10-20mph.
START OF THE WEEK: After the front moves through, we won't see a blast of cooler air, but some drier air will work its way into Central Florida, cutting the humidity and clearing us out for NYE day. NYE looks mainly clear for any late night events with temperatures in the low 60s.
Looking Ahead: Behind this system, the clouds clear and temps drop back into the lower and middle 70s as we round out 2024 and ring in 2025. 2025 will start off with more sunshine and slightly cooler temperatures in the low 70s. A cold snap looks to be on the way. Long-range outlook features a cool down as another front pushes through late next week (Next Thursday/Friday). We could possibly see highs in the 60s and lows in the 30s and 40s.
