TODAY'S HIGH: 66 | TONIGHT'S LOW: 51
A quiet and cool evening with high clouds filtering in. We'll see clouds thicken overnight into Monday, but lows will still fall into the upper 40s to low 50s tonight. A few showers will be possible beginning early Monday morning (mostly north of I-4) between 7-10 am. Rain chances will push northward into the afternoon.
TUESDAY: A severe event still remains on the table for Tuesday afternoon and evening. A strong cold front will sweep across Florida and bring a line of storms ahead of it. These storms may bring damaging winds and a risk of isolated tornadoes. It appears we will have enough warmth and winds aloft to allow for some spin so be on alert for tornado warnings. Highs should reach well into the 70s allowing for the instability. The main window for storms from west to east will be 12 to 9 pm. Keep checking back with the FOX 35 Storm Team for the latest information.
Following Tuesday we will see cooler and drier weather Wednesday and Thursday with highs back in the low to mid 60s. This break won't last long with another front on the way Friday with an additional chance of showers and storms. Drier weather could return throughout next weekend.
