FOX 35 Meteorologist Laurel Blanchard tracks the showers and clouds expected for the rest of the start of the workweek. Temperatures still on the rise for the start of the Monday through Wednesday, but when will the next cold front move in and take our highs back down to the 60s?
ORLANDO, Fla. -
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies are on tap through the overnight with temperatures lingering in the low and mid 60s. Winds will still be breezy through the overnight coming from NE 5-15mph. Still a chance of a few sprinkles moving onshore through the overnight. Patchy fog possible late.
LOOKING AHEAD: Temperatures will continue to rise and we will see the low 80s next week from Monday until Wednesday. Because of the SE wind coming into the Sunshine State this will increase the chance of showers through the start of next week with mostly cloudy skies. This will also increase the humidity as warm, moist air pushes in, so things will feel muggy especially on Wednesday. Our next cold front pushes in Wednesday with the cooler air moving back in across Central Florida next Friday bringing out highs back down into the 60s and low 70s, luckily this will clear out the clouds and bring back the sunshine!
