MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND:
The summer-like scorcher continues Monday on the final day of the holiday weekend. If you plan on heading to the pool, beach, or anywhere outdoors, it will be another steamy day.
Temperatures are expected to warm quickly under mostly sunny skies getting highs into the mid to upper 90s inland to low 90s along the coast. Feels like temperatures could reach the low triple digits along and south of Orlando. Keep cool and hydrated! Rain chances look low again (similar to Sunday) with high pressure under firm control.
Beach Forecast
The coolest weather will be found along our coast, though not too much better overall with highs still in the 90s. An onshore breeze may help a bit. Surf will reach 1-2 feet with a moderate rip current risk so swim carefully.
Theme park forecast
It will be plenty hot at the parks on Monday with highs reaching the upper 90s and lots of sunshine. Be sure to take breaks from the outdoors and find the A/C when you can. Rain is not expected.
The week ahead
A front will drop into Florida Tuesday bringing a chance of afternoon showers and storms. Best coverage will be across northern areas (north of I-4) during the afternoon and farther south into the evening.
We will continue with daily chances of rain through Friday with the seabreeze collision driving out rain chances. Overall, rain chances are still pretty hit or miss so no big rain-maker expected.
Highs will reach the mid 90s early in the week, then come down by the end heading into next weekend. Lows keep in the low to mid 70s.
